Messalka
Messalka at ulica Krakowskie Przedmieście 16/18, is a historical place on the map of Warsaw. On February 23, 1911, a modern bathing establishment was opened in the outbuilding of the tenement – the Central Bathhouse, which was more often known as the Łaźnia Pod Messalką. She owes her name to a well-known and admired resident of the building, Warsaw’s favorite, opera singer, dancer and actress – Lucynie Messal, admired in the interwar period.
